  I have been watching that people are going crazy with the news about sanctions. I won't say sanction to will hurt; they will hurt hard and we will feel them. I know  what I am talking about. My daughter says that as a Cuban I am trained to live under a climate of sanctions and shortages. Of course, nobody is trained for that. This is her euphemistic expression to put things.  However, I believe that this is a starting point for Russians to focus more on the economy and put aside the mentality of making  quick money and think more about the themselves as nation.  Many of the companies that have left the country made their products here. Probable some brought a part of their components. This is the case of Pepsi, Colgate, I believe. In any case, they cannot take the infrastructure away. The same happens with the car assembly plants.  Estamos viviendo momentos difíciles en todo el mundo, tanto los cubanos allá como los rusos y cubanos que vivimos aquí. Hace muchos años abrí este blog y nunca había escrito una  palabra. Indudablemente, ya no pienso como el día que la abrí. Pero creo, honestamente, que me siento listo para hacerlo. He leído tanta historia y filosofía que las puertas de mi aula me quedan pequeñas. He aprendido mucho sobre este maravilloso país donde vivo lejos de mis hijos, mis hermanos y amigos, que a veces lloro y me duele saber que los años no me van a permitir aprender más de lo que he podido lograr hasta ahora.  Estamos viviendo momentos difíciles, y aunque me duela decirlo, vivimos una guerra necesaria, como dijo nuestro José Martí. Rusia necesita seguridad. Después de cuantrocientos años de dominio británico y luego estadounidence después de iniciada la guerra fría un gobierno se ha levantado y ha parado a los americanos en seco.
